You: Good morning, doctor. My pet is not feeling well.
Vet: Good morning. What seems to be the problem?
You: Well, he’s been coughing and sneezing a lot lately, and he seems to be losing his appetite.
Vet: I see. Let me take a look at him. (examines the pet) Yes, he does seem to have a bit of a respiratory infection. I’ll prescribe some antibiotics for him.
You: Thank you, doctor. Is there anything else I can do to help him feel better?
Vet: Yes, make sure he gets plenty of rest and stays hydrated. Also, keep an eye on his temperature and let me know if it goes up.
You: Okay, I will. Thank you for your help.
Vet: You’re welcome. Let me know if you have any other concerns.
