Russian literature is known for its classic works such as War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy and Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Russian music includes classical composers such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, as well as popular contemporary artists like Zemfira and Dima Bilan. Russian theater is also highly regarded, with the Moscow Art Theatre being one of the most famous in the world. Russian film has a long history, with directors such as Sergei Eisenstein and Andrei Tarkovsky being internationally recognized.
2. Russian culture differs from other cultures in many ways. For example, the Russian language uses the Cyrillic alphabet, which can be difficult for non-native speakers to read and write. Russian cuisine is also unique, with dishes such as borscht and pelmeni being popular.
