1. Albert Einstein — He was a German-born physicist who developed the theory of relativity. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 for his explanation of the photoelectric effect. Einstein was also a pacifist and a civil rights activist.
2. Marie Curie — She was a Polish-born physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, and the first person to win two Nobel Prizes in different fields (Physics and Chemistry).
3. Mahatma Gandhi — He was an Indian independence activist who led India to independence from British rule. He is known for his philosophy of nonviolent resistance, which he called Satyagraha. Gandhi was also a champion of women’s rights and religious tolerance.
4. Nelson Mandela — He was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary who became the country’s first black president. He spent 27 years in prison for his activism before being released in 1990. Mandela was a symbol of hope and reconciliation, and he worked tirelessly to promote racial harmony and democracy in South Africa.
