George: The hotel was old

and run-down, but the location was great. We were right on the beach.
Jan: Oh, that sounds nice. And what about the weather? Was it good?
George: It was okay. It wasn’t too hot, but it wasn’t cold either. There weren’t any storms or anything like that.
Jan: That’s good. And how about the food? Was it good?
George: It was okay. There were a few good restaurants nearby, but the hotel restaurant wasn’t very good. The service wasn’t great either.
Jan: Hmm, that’s too bad. But overall, it sounds like you had a good time.
George: Yeah, we did. The hotel wasn’t perfect, but we weren’t there to stay in the room all day anyway. We were out exploring most of the time.
