1. He is from Canada.
2. He went to Japan.
3. He went abroad to teach English and immerse himself in Japanese culture.
4. While in Japan, he taught English to elementary school students and lived with a Japanese family. He also traveled around the country and tried new foods.
5. Yes, he sounds positive about his experience, but also mentions that it was challenging at times. He says that he learned a lot about himself and the world, and that he would recommend the experience to others.
