Beginning of the story: It happened to me…
I was walking home from work one evening when I noticed a strange figure following me. I quickened my pace, but the figure seemed to be getting closer and closer. I turned around to confront them, but they disappeared into thin air. I shook my head, thinking it was just my imagination playing tricks on me, and continued on my way.
Ending of the story:
As I reached my front door, I heard a faint whisper behind me. I turned around to see the same figure standing there, staring at me with piercing eyes. I froze in fear, unable to move or speak. Suddenly, the figure reached out and handed me a small, intricately carved box. Without a word, they vanished into the night.
I opened the box to find a note inside, which read: «You have been chosen to carry on the legacy of the ancient order. Your destiny awaits.» Confused and intrigued, I spent the next few weeks researching the order and its history. I discovered that they were a secret society dedicated to protecting ancient artifacts and knowledge from falling into the wrong hands.
I realized that I had been chosen to join their ranks and continue their mission. From that day on, I dedicated my life to the order, traveling the world and protecting the secrets of the past. It was a dangerous and thrilling life, but I knew that I was fulfilling my destiny and making a difference in the world.
