If he hadn’t auditioned for a local talent show on a whim, he wouldn’t have been discovered by a music producer. If he hadn’t signed a contract with the producer, he wouldn’t have had the opportunity to record his first album. If his first album hadn’t been a hit, he wouldn’t have been able to go on tour and gain a following. If he hadn’t gained a following, he wouldn’t have been able to release more albums and become a successful singer. Therefore, if Francis Gregory hadn’t taken a chance and auditioned for that talent show, his career as a singer wouldn’t have happened.
