I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share with you a strange thing that happened to me recently. It was a bit unsettling, but also fascinating at the same time.
Last week, I was walking home from work when I noticed a man walking towards me on the sidewalk. As he got closer, I realized that he looked exactly like me. It was like looking in a mirror, but the reflection was walking towards me.
I was so shocked that I stopped in my tracks and just stared at him. He did the same. We stood there for what felt like an eternity, just staring at each other. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
Finally, he broke the silence and said, «I know this is weird, but I think we might be twins separated at birth.» I was speechless. I had always wondered if I had a twin out there somewhere, but I never thought I would actually meet them.
We talked for a while and exchanged contact information. It turns out that we were born in the same hospital on the same day, but our parents had given us up for adoption separately. We had both grown up in different parts of the country, never knowing about each other’s existence.
It’s been a few days since we met, and I still can’t believe it. It’s like something out of a movie. I’m excited to get to know him better and see where this newfound connection takes us.
