As the sun began to set, the small town of Millfield grew quiet. The streets emptied as people retreated to the safety of their homes. But one house remained eerily silent. The windows were dark and the front door hung open, creaking in the wind. A group of teenagers, curious and daring, decided to investigate. They cautiously approached the house, their hearts pounding with fear. As they stepped inside, they were immediately hit with a musty smell and a sense of foreboding. The floorboards groaned beneath their feet and shadows danced on the walls. Suddenly, a bloodcurdling scream echoed through the house, causing them to freeze in terror. They knew they had made a grave mistake by entering this haunted house.
