To persuade my partner to help me with my homework, I would use phrases such as «I really need your help with this,» «I’m struggling with this assignment,» and «I know you’re good at this subject, can you please assist me?» I would also try to appeal to their sense of kindness and generosity by saying things like «I would really appreciate it if you could help me out,» and «I promise I’ll return the favor in the future.»
If I wanted to persuade my partner to go to a party with me, I would use phrases such as «It’s going to be so much fun,» «I really want to go but I don’t want to go alone,» and «I think we’ll have a great time together.» I would also try to appeal to their sense of adventure and spontaneity by saying things like «Let’s do something different and exciting tonight,» and «We can make some great memories together.»
To persuade my partner to wash the dishes for me, I would use phrases such as «I’m really tired and I could use your help,» «I’ve been doing a lot of chores lately and I could use a break,» and «I would be so grateful if you could take care of this for me.» I would also try to appeal to their sense of fairness and equality by saying things like «We should share the household chores equally,» and «I always help you out when you need it, so can you please do the same for me?»
