My parents are both retired now, but they used to work in different fields. My dad was a software engineer and my mom was a teacher.
In their free time, my dad likes to read books and watch movies. He also enjoys playing chess and going for walks in the park. My mom, on the other hand, likes to do yoga and go to the gym. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes.
Dialogue:
A: Hi, what do your parents do?
B: Well, my dad used to be a software engineer and my mom was a teacher.
A: That’s interesting. What do they do in their free time?
B: My dad likes to read books and watch movies. He also enjoys playing chess and going for walks in the park. My mom likes to do yoga and go to the gym. She also enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes.
A: That sounds like they have some great hobbies. Do they have any other interests?
B: Yeah, my dad is really into technology and likes to keep up with the latest gadgets. My mom enjoys gardening and taking care of her plants.
