I think this statement conflicts with the rights of other people. While it may be argued that individuals have the right to bear arms for self-defense, the presence of guns in public spaces can also pose a threat to the safety and well-being of others. Additionally, the right to carry a gun may infringe upon the rights of others who do not feel safe or comfortable in the presence of firearms. Ultimately, I believe that the right to bear arms should be balanced with the responsibility to ensure public safety and the protection of individual rights.
As for the task at hand, I would read each statement from Ex. 97 to my partner and ask if they agree or disagree with it. Depending on their response, we would then discuss whether or not the statement conflicts with the rights of other people. This would involve considering the potential impact of the statement on different individuals and groups, as well as any relevant laws or regulations that may apply.
