the snake in a small box and headed out to the park. As he was walking, he noticed a group of kids gathered around something. Curious, Terry went over to see what was going on.
To his horror, he saw that the kids were tormenting a small kitten. They were throwing rocks at it and pulling its tail. Terry knew he had to do something to help the poor animal. He quickly put his snake back in the box and approached the group of kids.
«Stop it!» he yelled. «Leave that kitten alone!»
The kids turned to face Terry, surprised by his sudden outburst. But they didn’t back down. Instead, they started taunting him and throwing rocks in his direction.
Terry knew he had to act fast. He opened the box and let his snake out. The kids were terrified and ran away screaming. Terry quickly scooped up the kitten and took it home with him.
He named the kitten Lucky and nursed it back to health. Lucky became Terry’s constant companion and the two of them were inseparable. Terry even taught Lucky how to play fetch and the two of them would spend hours in the park, playing together.
One day, Terry and Lucky were walking in the park when they saw the same group of kids who had tormented Lucky before. But this time, the kids were being kind to a stray dog. Terry was pleased to see that the kids had learned their lesson and were now treating animals with kindness and respect.
Terry realized that sometimes, all it takes is one person to stand up for what is right and make a difference. He was proud of himself for saving Lucky and for teaching the kids a valuable lesson about compassion and empathy.
In the end, Terry and Lucky became local heroes in their community. They were featured in the school magazine and even received an award for their bravery and kindness towards animals. Terry knew that he had made a difference in the world and that he and Lucky would always be remembered for their heroic actions.
