Dialog 2:

Person 2: Why not?
Person 1: It’s a superstition in Russia. It brings bad luck.
Person 2: Okay, I won’t do it.
Dialog 3:
Person 1: Be careful when you break a mirror.
Person 2: Why?
Person 1: It’s believed to bring seven years of bad luck in Russia.
Person 2: I’ll be sure to avoid breaking any mirrors then.
Dialog 4:
Person 1: Don’t whistle inside the house.
Person 2: Why not?
Person 1: It’s a superstition in Russia. It’s believed to bring poverty.
Person 2: I had no idea. I won’t do it again.
Dialog 5:
Person 1: Don’t sit at the corner of the table.
Person 2: Why?
Person 1: It’s a superstition in Russia. It’s believed to bring bad luck.
Person 2: I’ll make sure to avoid sitting there then.
