You: Hi, I wanted to talk to you about something that’s been bothering me.
Neighbor: Sure, what’s up?
You: Well, I’ve noticed that your dog barks a lot and it’s been keeping me up at night. I was wondering if there’s anything you could do to help with that?
Neighbor: Oh, I’m sorry about that. I didn’t realize it was bothering you. I’ll try to keep him quiet at night.
You: Thank you, I really appreciate it. Also, I’ve noticed that sometimes you have parties that go on pretty late and the noise can be pretty loud. Is there any way you could keep it down a bit?
Neighbor: Yeah, I understand. We’ll try to be more mindful of the noise level and keep it down after a certain time.
You: That would be great, thank you. I just wanted to bring it up because I think it’s important for us to be considerate of each other as neighbors.
Neighbor: Absolutely, I completely agree. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
